Emilio Cerezo

Emilio Cerezo grew up in Murcia, studied fine arts in Granada, and ran under graffiti aliases until 2012 when he started putting his own name on walls. He wants people to experience his murals the way they experience landscape or music: not as a message, but as an atmosphere. He still tattoos between murals, which probably explains the line quality.

Cerezo grew up influenced by 90s anime, manga, and video games like Final Fantasy VII and Silent Hill, alongside his grandmother's watercolor paintings and his uncle's anime drawings. He was involved in the graffiti scene as a teenager, later using his real name for his art. He studied fine arts at the University of Granada and completed a postgraduate degree in drawing, during which his style evolved to focus more on meaning and seriousness.
