Ezra Baderman was born in Paris, grew up in London, trained at John Cass and Bezalel, and now works in Lisbon. His practice — collage, painting, UV work, salvaged street posters from Tel Aviv walls — is shaped by all of that movement. Fragments of political imagery get rearranged into something quieter and stranger. The street is both material and argument.
Ezra Baderman is a British-Israeli artist whose multi-disciplinary practice delves into a diverse array of themes, including street culture, meme phenomena, Jewish heritage, and esoteric wisdom. His artistic media spans from collages and classic painting techniques to immersive ultraviolet slime installations and plasticine sculptures. Drawing from psychedelic visions, mystical experiences, and critical reflections on contemporary society, his work offers a unique perspective on the world. Ezra currently resides in Lisbon with his wife Talia and their children, Akiva and Elisheva.
