Igal Talianski is a Haifa based artist and graphic designer known for his spontaneous approach to creation, using existing graphic materials and reassembling them in a playful manner. He draws inspiration from the objects in his immediate surroundings such as a party flyer, an old encyclopedia or a shopping bag etc’ giving new meaning to compositions through his intuitive selection of elements. His works often combine the familiar with abstract elements, and his artistic vision was shaped by his upbringing in a region where the industrial aesthetic dominates the public space, leading him to seek beauty in the neglected and discarded.
