Kymo One is a Belgian muralist trained in graphic illustration who never gave up spray paint. Chains, roses, smoke, and industrial romanticism repeat across European walls — old-master drama at graffiti velocity. Readable from the sidewalk and worth getting closer to.
KYMO ONE is a Belgian street artist and painter whose work bridges art history and contemporary graffiti culture. Trained as a graphic illustrator, he developed a distinctive visual language built on bold colour, clean composition, and reconstructed fragments of classical sculpture. In his practice, he continuously moves between past and present. He believes that by examining what came before us and looking closely at what we are doing now, a certain universal truth about the human experience begins to emerge. He is inspired by artists and creators across disciplines — from the films of Stanley Kubrick to the novels of Thomas Harris, the paintings of Caravaggio, the architecture of Tadao Ando, and even the furniture design of Charles and Ray Eames. What draws him in is the ability to enter someone else’s worldview through their work.
