Hiroyasu Tsuri left Yokohama for Melbourne in 2003 and spent years absorbing street and graffiti culture before formalizing his practice.
He coined the term "Raw Mark Making" to describe a style that runs classical drawing through street velocity.
Represented by Backwoods Gallery in Melbourne, he has shown in institutions in Canberra, Amsterdam, and Munich, and his work is in museum collections. Graffiti grammar holding museum weight.
