Biography
Taylor, working as My Sunbeam, makes illustration that feels like it grew up around sticker books, late-night radio, and things left too long in the sun. The characters arrive warm but slightly off-center, with textures worn just enough to feel found rather than polished. The work keeps a wobble that stops it from feeling too neat.
Taylor Dasbach, known as My Sunbeam, is a London-based illustrator originally from Michigan. His work is a playful fusion of retro cartoon aesthetics, whimsical characters, and intricate linework. With a focus on themes of positivity, mental health awareness, and self-reflection, Taylor’s art inspires a sense of joy and introspection in equal measure.
