Tiago Hesp

Tiago Hesp was born in 1981, trained in scenography at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon, and has been doing graffiti since 1998. His practice now spans mural painting, music, illustration, and theatre design — disciplines that share a grammar of stage and surface. He describes painting as starting from an aggressive black line and chasing balance between shadow and color.
