Emilio Cerezo grew up in Murcia, studied fine arts in Granada, and ran under graffiti aliases until 2012 when he started putting his own name on walls. The academic training paid off in specific ways — figure, landscape, and mural scale now share a painterly attention to mood over representation. He wants people to experience his murals the way they experience landscape or music: not as a message, but as an atmosphere. He still tattoos between murals, which probably explains the line quality.
