Loreta Isac

Loreta Isac grew up in Iași, studied art there, and moved to Bucharest. She describes herself as "once upon a dreamer," which captures the tone of the work exactly. Her illustrations and animations move between editorial commissions for the New York Times and Washington Post and quieter personal pieces — frozen moments, unnamed feelings, figures caught mid-thought. She uses motion as just another way to let the drawing breathe.

Loreta Isac is a Bucharest-based illustrator and animator with a passion for nature, music, and exploration. Her work often focuses on themes like well-being, nature, and melancholy, while she experiments with animation, bringing plants and objects to life. With clients such as Apple and Sam Smith, Loreta specializes in social media animations, music videos, and filter animations. She's skilled in frame-by-frame animation and uses tools like Procreate, Photoshop, and After Effects, while also exploring Cinema 4D. Her curiosity drives her continuous artistic evolution. @Loreta_Isac
